In the mid-19th century, boilers began to be used, and this was when radiators were invented. These radiators were made of cast iron, often with beautiful decorations, and were heated with steam. Initially, they were imported from the USA, but around 1900, they also began to be produced in Sweden.

Like the very first models, these are designed to stand on the floor, and the outer sections are equipped with feet.
