The price includes a concealed bracket for permanent installation. If wall-mounted, the bracket can be paired with a wooden backplate to allow side cable entry, for instance if a knob-and-tube or surface-mounted wire runs along the wall. The wooden backplate may also serve as a decorative accent, highlighting the lamp's position—best ordered without a cable groove in such cases.
