Solid spruce flooring from the forests of northern Sweden, produced from carefully selected raw materials and rooted in a strong tradition of craftsmanship. Spruce is a lighter wood species than pine and does not yellow in the same way pine floors can. Each board has its own unique appearance, giving the floor a natural and vibrant expression. The floor is dried to a moisture content of approximately 8%, also referred to as furniture-dry. Each board is carefully inspected to ensure high quality.

The boards contain a high proportion of heartwood, with lighter sapwood along the edges. The wood is end-matched and has slightly beveled edges. It is packaged in easy-to-handle bundles with shrink wrap to maintain dryness and ensure a good fit during installation.

Material: Northern Swedish spruce
Moisture content: 8%
Price: Listed price is per square meter and includes VAT, excluding home delivery
Width: 135 mm (5.31 in.) visible width
Thickness: 25 mm (0.98 in.)

The floor is delivered planed and untreated. To achieve a smooth and even surface, it should be sanded once after installation. To protect the wooden floor, it should also be treated with, for example, linseed oil, linseed soap, or linseed wax.

Good to know
Wood is a living material that expands and contracts with humidity. On dry winter days, when the tiled stove is at its warmest, small gaps may appear between the planks. However, in the humid summer months, some of those gaps will disappear. The floor performs best when temperature and humidity remain relatively stable. This flooring is fully suitable for underfloor heating, as long as the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C (80.6°F).

Tip!
A dent in the floor (for example, from a heel) can be easily repaired! Wet a dishcloth thoroughly, place it over the dent, and wait. After a short while, the wood fibers will rise, making the damage nearly invisible. The method works as long as the fibers are not severed. Sharp objects are damaging to any floor. Thick wooden floors can be sanded down again and again if needed.

Because wood behaves differently depending on environment and handling, we cannot accept complaints once the floor has been installed. Claims must be made before installation.
