Ceiling lights for the kitchen table

A ceiling light above the kitchen table is often the focal point of the room. Our lamps are inspired by period models from the turn of the century, carefully selected to convey the right sense of quality and craftsmanship. The light becomes soft and pleasant, while brass details and classic shapes give the kitchen a warm and inviting character.

Shoemaker’s lamps

The shoemaker’s lamp is a true classic that has adorned homes since the early 1900s. At Sekelskifte you’ll find it in several versions – with shades in white or green opal glass and fittings in polished or nickel-plated brass. It is just as beautiful on its own as in pairs, and fits perfectly above a kitchen table or worktop.

One variation is the shoemaker’s lamp with a pulley, often called a shoemaker’s lift. With the smart height-adjustable function, you can easily adjust the light as needed, making it both practical and atmospheric.

Wall lights in the kitchen

Brass wall lights are a timeless way to create extra points of light in the kitchen. Place them by open shelves, above the sink or next to a display cabinet to combine function with classic atmosphere. Our wall lights are made with attention to detail and are ideal if you want to create an interior with a turn-of-the-century feel.
