5-liter linseed oil especially suitable for floors.
€119,95

Ädel Floor Oil is made from highly refined fatty acids derived from linseed oil. The oil provides long-lasting protection against moisture and dirt while preserving the natural feel of the wood. For best results, the floor oil should be applied warm. Our oils withstand high temperatures, allowing safe application at 120-130°C (248-266°F). Heat the oil using a deep fryer or a stainless steel pot together with a separate thermometer. Heating changes the oil's viscosity, allowing it to penetrate deeper while any surface moisture evaporates.

Application Instructions

  1. Apply the warm oil generously to the floor using a brush. A wide wallpaper brush is suitable for this task. Where the wood absorbs the oil, apply more until the wood is fully saturated. The technique is to continuously move oil from areas that no longer absorb it to areas that still do.
  2. Allow the oil to penetrate for approximately 20 minutes before wiping away any excess oil. This is very important, as leftover oil may otherwise create glossy spots that can also become sticky.
  3. Once the entire floor has been treated, you may buff it using a floor polishing machine fitted with a fine polishing pad. This produces a very attractive and durable finish.

The floor can be maintained using cold floor oil, which is buffed into the surface. Only a small amount of oil, 10-15 ml per square meter, is required for this treatment. Under normal wear, maintenance is typically needed every 2-3 years.
