This plinth block (base block) is a simple variant and after a little adjustment suits most door trims. First and foremost, you have to adjust its width to connect with the trim. It is also common to saw it in the narrower end to get a nice ending on the door side as most trims have a thinner end toward the door. Adjust the height to the height of the skirting board. The height and width should be about 2 millimeters extra compared with the trim and the skirting board.

Please note that we sell our moldings in random lengths (i.e., mixed lengths typically between 2.5 - 5.4 meters / 8.2 - 17.7 feet). This means that we cannot accept orders for specific length requests; we deliver the lengths available in stock. Therefore, we recommend ordering 15-20% extra if you want to avoid joints (waste). If you need many short pieces, you generally do not need to add as much extra for waste.
