Cornice Molding Stockholm 1897 – Outdoor

Our custom-made cornice molding (also called crown molding or header) is based on an old original from 1897. This model is adapted for outdoor use, as the top is sloped in three directions to allow water runoff. Works just as well as a decorative element above windows as above exterior doors. This is a genuine craft made from slow-grown, high-quality northern Swedish pine. It is important to oil and paint the molding for long-lasting durability.

Top depth: 120 mm (4.72 in.) (extends from the wall), of which 55 mm (2.17 in.) is flat and 65 mm (2.56 in.) sloped

Top length: Approx. 190 mm (7.48 in.) longer than the bottom (95 mm (3.74 in.) on each side)

Installation instructions: First mount the spacer board directly above the casing (nail or screw), then mount the header/cornice molding directly above the spacer board (pre-drilling recommended). Oil and paint using the same color as the casing.

This is a made-to-order item. Contact us to place an order. Delivery time is approximately 2–3 weeks. Don’t forget to measure the length of the casing above the door or window where the cornice molding (spacer board) is to be placed, as this determines the bottom length of the molding. If you need a longer version than 2 meters, we can also arrange this for an additional cost.

• Shipping cost is based on weight, volume, and shipping method and is calculated at checkout.
• Items in stock are shipped from us within 2–5 business days.
• For customers outside the EU (excluding Norway), local taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations and will be charged by the carrier.

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
