Inspiration - Rebuilding furniture with panel molding

With just a few simple updates, you can easily add a period-style touch to a modern interior – without tearing anything out or getting rid of perfectly functional furniture. One of the most popular products in our collection is decorative mouldings, available in a variety of profiles and dimensions. They work beautifully for everything from wall panels and door frames to wardrobe doors or the edge of a built-in hat or bookcase.

In the images, you’ll see a very simple wooden frame that has been adorned with a decorative moulding and painted in a soft linseed oil paint. We also added classic hinges, a skirting board and brass fittings that complete the period look.

So, it doesn’t have to be complicated to transform a sideboard, cabinet doors or a bookshelf into something more timeless and characterful – with just a few pieces of wood trim and a bit of imagination!

Äppelviken – Classic Garden Furniture in 1920s Style

Äppelviken is our new series of classic garden furniture, crafted in Sweden from untreated pine. With its period-typical design, the furniture becomes a natural part of the garden’s character. Paint it with linseed oil for a personal touch.
