Allbäck's amazing linseed oil wax is incredibly dense and durable, which probably makes it the most cost-effective treatment when it comes to floor treatments. Linseed oil wax can be used on most surfaces such as matte-painted surfaces, wood, concrete, brick, slate and furniture, etc. Allbäck's linseed oil waxes can also be mixed with each other to get your desired color. The floor in the image has a mixture of 10% mahogany, 30% oak and 60% natural wax. Heat the wax for a while in a bowl in the oven or micro to make it softer and easier to mix. Mix properly.
Waxing your wood flooring is a simple, fast and lasting treatment.
1. Clean with a mild blend of linseed soap and water.
2. Let it dry.
3. Apply thin and wipe off the excess after approx. 15-20 minutes.
The floor is ready immediately without hazardous solvents and chemicals. The wax penetrates into the wood and prevents water penetration. The surface is fully cured within a week. NOTE! The wax gives different results on different surfaces. Make a test before you apply it on the whole floor.
Note: Risk of self-ignition in porous materials. Soak rags, etc. in water and seal in a plastic bag when you are done.
