Kerosene Lamp - Ekholm

The Ekholm is a large kerosene table lamp made of solid brass, with a hand-blown opal white glass shade. It features an adjustable base, so the total height is between 64-74 cm (25.2-29.13 in.). The lamp is fuelled by kerosene (also known as lamp oil) and can be refilled by unscrewing the kerosene burner.

Our kerosene lamps are not intended for decorative lighting purposes, but rather as a primary light source in spaces lacking modern electrical lighting (such as for example, vacation cottages, porches, and patios).

According to EU directive EN 14059: 2002, traditional round burners, whose dimensions and construction have remained unchanged since the 1870s, no longer meet the safety requirements to protect children under the age of three from danger. Therefore, they must not be used for decorative purposes, but only as functional lighting. Should our lamps - contrary to our intentions - be used for decorative lighting purposes, there is a risk that children under the age of three may be exposed to life-threatening lung injuries after sucking on the wick or drinking the lamp oil. IF LAMP OIL IS SWALLOWED, do not induce vomiting. Contact the Poison Control Center or a doctor immediately!

Sekelskifte´s lighting range is CE-marked and approved by EU-standard but not UL-certified. We cannot take responsibility for, or deliver lighting outside the EU.

Deliveries

• Shipping cost is based on weight, volume, and shipping method and is calculated at checkout.
• Items in stock are shipped from us within 2-5 business days. 
• For customers outside the EU (excluding Norway), local taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations, and will then be billed by the carrier.

How to make a return 

Contact us within 30 days at info@sekelskifte.se and provide:

• Order number 
• Name and contact details 
• Item number, quantity, and reason for return 

Wait for approval before sending anything back. We always book the return shipment and send a shipping label. 

Return terms: 

• 30 day right of withdrawal
• The product must be unused, undamaged, unmounted, and in its complete original packaging (otherwise a deduction may apply) 
• Return shipping will be added. Heavy goods (e.g. toilets, sinks, stoves, tiles) must always be returned on a pallet. Tiles must be returned in full boxes. Return costs for long goods are calculated locally and may be higher than the original delivery cost.
• Refund is made within 30 days using the same payment method. Shipping is not refunded. 
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, moldings, paneling) or custom orders (e.g. custom dimensions, special alloys, mixed/broken paint).
