Stikkan - Wood kindling tool

Stikkan can be conveniently mounted on the wall by the fireplace or a cast iron stove, or in the woodshed. With its elegant black-painted design, it goes well in most interiors. Stikkan is a safe tool for making kindling for the fire, as you won't have to leave axes lying around. It is perfect for ski homes and families with children. It is great for anyone who doesn't want to constantly search for an axe in order to enjoy a fire.

Thanks to Stikkan's design, it never gets stuck on wood logs. If the log does not split open during the first try, simply lift it higher up and try again.

History 

The history of Stikkan began as early as 1982. Its inventor, Tormod Lie, was a successful engineer who traveled internationally. When he returned home to Telemark in Norway, his wife complained about the difficulty of starting a fire in the hearth.

Winters can be biting in the Norwegian mountains, and the skilled engineer spent a lot of time and effort to solve the problem of safely and easily making kindling without using a dangerous axe. Thus, the wood splitter was invented.

For this invention, he was awarded a Design Patent by the Norwegian Patent Office.

Stikkan is now manufactured in Sweden and successfully sold in 20 countries - in America, New Zealand, and Europe.

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete, unassembled, and in its original packaging, and must be securely packed in protective outer packaging in the same way as when it was delivered. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
