Rectangular tiles

White rectangular tiles became popular around year 1900. The tiles suit perfect above the sink or on the bathroom walls and should be mounted like bricks, i.e. with a semi-flattened displacement over respectively below a set tile. This type of tiles are often called Metro tiles, subway or underground half-tile, since it was used in Le Metro in Paris as well as in the subway in New York and London.
