This door handle cannot be used with through screws. Cover plug – Birch item no. 101-280 can be used on modern doors with pre-drilled 40 mm holes.
The spindle supplied with our door handles is adapted to standard dimensions for interior doors with a thickness of about 40–45 mm (1.6–1.8 in). For wider doors or exterior doors, we recommend purchasing a longer spindle, which can easily be shortened if it is too long. If you have an old lock case, it may also be advisable to purchase a bushing for the spindle to ensure the door handle fits securely.
