Inspiration - Wooden fence with white tops

Create a beautiful, old-fashioned fence with the Djurgården fence profile! The pointed shape is not only visually appealing but also serves a practical purpose. Since the top of the fence is often the part most exposed to wear and tear, the shape helps prevent rainwater from collecting on the pickets. Painting the tops with white linseed oil paint is also a long-standing tradition that offers additional protection!

By choosing a fence made from high-quality spruce or pine and inspecting it annually to care for any worn parts, you can significantly extend its lifespan. Make sure there is airflow beneath the fence as well – tall, damp grass and other vegetation can, over time, cause damage from below.

The fence in the photo is painted with linseed oil paint from Selder & Co in the shades English Red and Semi-gloss White.
