The casement stay is mounted in the window frame like a traditional window catch or peg stay and functions as a ventilation fitting. It can be placed in the frame near the hinges for a fully open window or at the outer edge of the frame that meets the mullion to create a narrower ventilation gap. Secured with the included hook.
The unlacquered brass will darken and develop a beautiful patina over time.
