Duro Tapet - Börsjö - Red

The original wallpaper design for Börsjö dates from approximately 1865-1890. Patterns of this type were used on both ceilings and walls. In Sweden, this type of ceiling wallpaper did not become widely popular until the 1870s and 1880s.

As early as around 1800, ceilings in France began to be decorated with ceiling paintings and wallpaper. It was not until the end of the 19th century that this style gained popularity in the Nordic countries. This coincided with the rise of the Neo-Renaissance style. At that time, wall and ceiling wallpapers of this type began to be printed in large quantities by all Swedish manufacturers.

It was important for the pattern to appear the same from every direction. Popular designs included small-scale geometric patterns featuring diamonds, small stars, or quatrefoil flowers. The patterns often had a white or natural-colored background, sometimes with touches of gold. However, the wallpapers most characteristic of the period were very dark, often with a black background.

Apply the adhesive directly to the wall. The wallpaper is manufactured with consideration for the environment and can be washed with soap and water. Please note that slight color variations may occur between the product image and the actual wallpaper.

How to return an item:

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
