Classic country-style staircase switch for surface-mounted wiring. The staircase switch is a standard switch used to turn a light source on and off. It can also be used to control a light from two different locations, for example, at either end of a hallway or staircase, to switch on and off from both the top and bottom of the stairs.
The switch is cast entirely in porcelain and has a small opening on the side of the base for cable entry. The edge of the front features a discreet "Fontini" brand mark. The switch is CE marked and shares the same design as our other outlets and switches in white porcelain from Fontini, making it ideal for coordinated installations.
