Solid pine flooring from the forests of northern Sweden, produced from carefully selected raw materials and rooted in a strong tradition of craftsmanship. The floor is dried to a moisture content of approximately 8%, commonly referred to as furniture-dry. Each plank is carefully inspected to ensure high quality.

The boards contain a high proportion of heartwood, with lighter sapwood along the edges. The wood is delivered end-matched and features slightly beveled edges. It is packed in manageable bundles with shrink wrap to maintain dryness and ensure a good fit during installation.

Material: Slow-grown northern Swedish pine
Moisture content: 8%
Price: The listed price is per square meter and includes VAT, but excludes home delivery
Width: 135 mm (5.31 in.) visible width
Thickness: 30 mm (1.18 in.)

The floor is delivered planed and untreated. For a smooth and even surface, it should be sanded once installed. To protect the wooden floor, it should also be treated with, for example, linseed oil, linseed soap, or linseed wax.

Good to know
Wood is a living material that expands and contracts with changes in humidity. On dry winter days, when the tiled stove is burning, your floor will likely show small gaps between the boards. However, in the humid summer months, some of those gaps will disappear. The floor performs best in environments with stable humidity and temperature. This flooring is fully compatible with underfloor heating, as long as the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C (80.6°F).

Tip!
A dent in the wooden floor (from e.g., a heel) can be easily repaired! Soak a dishcloth with water, place it over the dent, and wait. After a short while, the fibers will rise, making the damage almost invisible. This method works as long as the fibers have not been cut. Sharp objects are harmful to any floor. Thick wood floors can be sanded down multiple times if needed.

Because wood reacts differently in various environments and with different handling, we cannot accept complaints once the floor has been installed. Claims must be made before installation.
