Duro Tapet - Astrid - Beige/Black

We found the model for the Astrid wallpaper in our archive, where the pattern was described as a design in Neo-Renaissance style. The example can be dated to 1860-1890.

The Swedish wallpaper industry began to grow in the second half of the nineteenth century. Industrialization and new wallpaper technology made it possible to manufacture more, larger wallpaper collections. The growing population increased demand for cheap wallpapers and using wallpaper became increasingly common among the population at large.

Wallpapers often featured stylized designs with simple patterns that were ideally suited for machine printing. New interpretations of older styles were popular. Blue printed on a natural background remained a popular choice throughout this period. Really dark colors, such as a black background with prints in gold and brown, were common in many homes.

Paste it directly to the wall. This wallpaper is manufactured using eco-friendly production methods and can be washed using soap and water. The colors you see in product photos may not be exactly the same as the colors of the wallpapers themselves.

How to make a return: 

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of return. To return an item, fill out our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return policy. 

Return policy:  

• The product must be returned unused, in its original packaging, and well packaged so that it is not damaged during transport. 
• Return shipping costs will be added. Heavy goods must always be returned by pallet freight. 
• Tiles and clinker must be returned in dry, clean, and unbroken packaging. 
• Upon approval of the return, the price of the goods will be refunded. Shipping costs are not refundable. Refunds will be made within 30 days using the same payment method used for the purchase. 
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to wood products such as wooden floors, wooden moldings, and wood paneling, as well as special orders such as custom-made items, broken colors, and special alloys on fittings. 
• In the event of an unapproved return, we reserve the right to make a price deduction. 

Smaller items can be returned free of charge to our store at Karlavägen 7 in Stockholm or to our warehouse at Västbergavägen 43 in Hägersten (Stockholm). Heavier and/or bulky goods can only be returned to our warehouse.
