The authors take on a hundred-year trip through style changes in the everyday architecture and building details from Stockholm, presented decade by decade. From the 1880s classicist architecture through the functionalism of the 1930s to the 1970s return to the stone city. The building details vary with the prevailing architectural style, ranging from the layout of the facades to the layout of the windows and the design of the door handles. The reader will have an opportunity to learn and interpret the buildings and details of different times.

With photographs and drawings, the development of residential buildings in the city is displayed in a simple way. A drawing section allows timing of door lining and floor trims - or to use the drawings to make new ones. The book is aimed at architects, real estate developers, managers, and property owners, as well as tenant-owner associations and tenant-owners. The book is also suitable in the educational context.

How to return an item:

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
