About heartwood

The trunk of most trees consists of two types of wood - the inner heartwood and the outer sapwood. The advantage of heartwood is that thanks to its density and high levels of resin and tannic acid, the wood is durable and has a high resistance to decay, fungi, and pests. Naturally impregnated wood! This wood is perfect for a classic-style porch or outdoor patio and requires no chemical treatment. Over time, the wood takes on a beautiful shade of gray.

The price indicated includes VAT but excludes home delivery. Shipping costs will be added at checkout.

Complaints can only be made before the decking is installed.

Deliveries

• Shipping cost is based on weight, volume, and shipping method and is calculated at checkout.
• Items in stock are shipped from us within 2-5 business days. 
• For customers outside the EU (excluding Norway), local taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations, and will then be billed by the carrier.

How to make a return 

Contact us within 30 days at info@sekelskifte.se and provide:

• Order number 
• Name and contact details 
• Item number, quantity, and reason for return 

Wait for approval before sending anything back. We always book the return shipment and send a shipping label. 

Return terms: 

• 30 day right of withdrawal
• The product must be unused, undamaged, unmounted, and in its complete original packaging (otherwise a deduction may apply) 
• Return shipping will be added. Heavy goods (e.g. toilets, sinks, stoves, tiles) must always be returned on a pallet. Tiles must be returned in full boxes. Return costs for long goods are calculated locally and may be higher than the original delivery cost.
• Refund is made within 30 days using the same payment method. Shipping is not refunded. 
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, moldings, paneling) or custom orders (e.g. custom dimensions, special alloys, mixed/broken paint).
