The classic Versailles floor is one of the most iconic parquet patterns in history, originally created for the Palace of Versailles in the 17th century. Our panel flooring in reclaimed antique oak is handmade in Sweden from solid wood that has already lived a long life in France. The goal has been to recreate, as faithfully as possible, the intricate and beautiful grid pattern known as “Parquet de Versailles.”

The oak used for this floor has grown naturally over several centuries and has served in buildings between 150 and 200 years old. The result is a material with density and character that simply cannot be replicated in new wood. Each plank bears traces of time, weather, and life — subtle marks, tonal variations, and a natural patina that gives the floor its deep, authentic expression.

The floor is delivered as preassembled 1000 x 1000 mm (39.37 x 39.37 in.) panels, carefully joined by hand with small wooden pegs using traditional techniques that add extra character. The thickness of approximately 23 mm (0.91 in.) provides exceptional durability and longevity.

The panels should be glued to the subfloor, laid diagonally with the corners facing the walls. Optional border and divider strips in the same reclaimed oak are available for a refined framed look. The floor is supplied untreated and should be sanded and finished after installation to protect and highlight the wood’s natural luster.

• Items in stock are shipped from us within 2–5 business days.
• For customers outside the EU (excluding Norway), local taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations and will be charged by the carrier.

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
