About our Winckelmans tiles

At Sekelskifte, we offer the complete range from the historic French tile manufacturer Winckelmans – a company that has supplied the European market with Victorian Floor Tiles since 1894. Today, the company is run by Barbara Winckelmans, the fifth generation of the Winckelmans family.
What truly sets Winckelmans tiles apart is their outstanding quality. These tiles are classified as full-body porcelain stoneware – making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use thanks to their frost resistance. The matte tiles are extremely dense, absorbing minimal moisture, which means they do not require sealing or impregnation.
We offer the full Winckelmans collection, featuring 32 different shapes in 31 colours – all of which can be combined to create stunning, period-appropriate patterns.
Below you’ll find inspiration for tile patterns and colour combinations. For these tiles, we recommend using narrow joints and a light-coloured grout.
