The lamp holder is fitted with a ceramic interior with a protruding edge, which all holders had until the end of the 1920s. The heat resistance of the ceramic far exceeds that of both Bakelite and plastics. The cord is of the same type that was used during the 1880-1890s, when the cables were usually twisted and covered with textiles.
The light is compliant with Swedish harmonized European standard SS EN 605981.
