Oak linseed oil wax. Made from linseed oil, beeswax, and pigment. Available in two sizes: 0.2 L or 1 L.
From €16,95
Size

This linseed oil wax is available in two sizes: 0.2 L or 1 L. The wax covers 20-40 m² (215-430 ft²) per liter.

Linseed oil wax can be used on all absorbent surfaces, such as wood floors, matte painted surfaces, wood, concrete, brick, slate, furniture, leather, etc. The wax provides for a water-repellent layer that can be cleaned with a mild mixture of linseed soap and water. The drying time is 1-2 days, and the wax is fully hardened after around 1 week. The drying time of twigs can take longer, depending on the sap in the twig and the thickness of the layer of wax. The wax should therefore be applied thinly, with all excess wax wiped off.

Linseed oil wax can be used to give already painted surfaces a new finish and a shiny luster (see image). All Allbäck linseed oil waxes can be mixed together to create personalized colors.

Application
Make sure the surface to be treated is dry and clean. Apply the wax with a coarse sponge, working in the direction of the wood grain and treating a few boards at a time. Allow the wax to penetrate, then wipe off any excess with a cloth, preferably terry cloth, within 30-60 minutes. It should be possible to walk on or touch the surface immediately without leaving marks in the wax. One treatment is normally sufficient.

Beware: Porous materials can combust. Always soak rags, clothes, etc. in water and seal them in a plastic bag when you are done.
