Why use a firewood grate?
With a firewood grate, the lighting process is simplified while promoting eco-friendly combustion. As oxygen can enter from below, the combustion temperature becomes higher, which has several advantages:
- Less soot
- Fewer harmful particles
- Reduced tar production, decreasing the risk of chimney fires.
