Flax Undercarpet - 6 x 1100 x 21000 mm (23,1 m2)

For use under parquet, laminate and wooden floors. Manufactured by felting of flax fibres on the needle loom. Very good resistance against tearing, elongation about 25 %, high compression resistance.
Good contact noise shielding. Sold per roll of 23,1 m2.

• The product compensates small differences in the evenness of the underfloor and facilitates differences in expansion and crimp between underfloor and upper floor.

Flax as isolation:

In the old days, most houses were poorly insulated but they were able to “breathe” freely. As a consequence, a lot of heat was lost, but the interior air quality was typically better than nowadays. On the positive side, current houses are generally much better thermally insulated than before. The downside results from the plastic foils necessary in combination with traditional insulating materials: First of all, they may have a negative influence on the indoor air quality. Secondly, moisture getting trapped in the construction can create big problems. Flax insulation offers the best of both worlds: a good thermal and acoustical insulation combined with the ability to exhale excess humidity from the wall and roof construction.

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
