Our wooden consoles in untreated pine have many uses. Here a beautiful old-fashioned window board was created with three of the consoles in the smallest model, which is then painted in the same color as the board.
During the second half of the 19th century, the window glass became larger, while the chest panel began to be rationalized away and replaced by a low floor socket. The window liners that had previously stood directly on the chest panel were now delivered with a protruding windowsill. This means, that it was not until the end of the 19th century that it became common to place houseplants and other decorative objects at the windows!
