Classic wall lamp in brass without shade. Early 1900s design.

Ribbing is a wall sconce inspired by Neoclassicism from the early 19th century. At the time, it was fitted with candles instead of electric lighting. This model looks particularly elegant when used as a matching pair, for example on either side of a painting.

Finish: Unlacquered polished brass
Light source: E14 plastic lamp holder with brass finish (20W)
Dimensions (H × P): 30 × 16 cm (11.81 × 6.30 in.) including shade
Shade mount: The shade harp attaches to the light bulb

A concealed mounting bracket for fixed installation with a wall switch is included. This bracket will not be visible but simplifies installation. If you require a different mounting option for this light, various accessories are available separately and can be found below under Related Products:

1. For fixed installation, the wall bracket can be fitted with a wooden backplate that allows cable entry from the side if, for example, knob-and-tube wiring or surface-mounted round cable runs along the wall. The wooden backplate can also have a decorative effect by accentuating the placement of the light and may therefore be ordered without a cable groove. See the different options below under Related Products.

2. Set with a dark wood mounting base and pull switch. Diameter: 130 mm (5.12 in.). The mounting base has a hole in the side for cable/surface-mounted round cable entry. An optional twisted brown textile cable with an earthed plug is available separately, see below under Related Products.

3. Set with a white-painted wood mounting base and pull switch. Diameter: 130 mm (5.12 in.). The mounting base has a hole in the side for cable/surface-mounted round cable entry. An optional twisted white textile cable with an earthed plug is available separately, see below under Related Products.
