A mortise lock designed for interior doors, made according to an old template. This variant features a steel latch with straight-cut ends ("straight corners"). Included with the lock are a key, a steel strike plate, screws, and a bushing to fit both older and newer door handles. The lock lacks a bolt.
Choose between three different widths for the faceplate and whether you want a right or left lock (image shows right). The latch is reversible for right or left doors.
If you look at your door in a closed position and the hinge is visible on the right side of the door, it is right-handed. If they are on the left, the door is consequently left-handed.
