Duro Tapet - Börsjö - Gray/Blue

The original design for Börsjö dates from around 1865-1890. This type of pattern was used for both ceilings and walls. As ceiling wallpaper, this style did not begin to gain popularity in Sweden until the 1870s and 1880s.

As early as around 1800, ceilings in France began to be decorated with ceiling paintings and wallpaper. It was not until the late 19th century that this trend reached the Nordic countries. This coincided with the Neo-Renaissance becoming a popular style. At that time, all Swedish factories began printing this type of wall and ceiling wallpaper in large quantities.

It was important that the pattern appeared the same from every direction. Popular designs included small-scale geometric patterns of diamonds, small stars, or quatrefoil flowers. The patterns were often printed on a white or natural-colored background, sometimes with gold accents. The wallpapers most characteristic of the period, however, were very dark, often with a black background.

Apply paste directly to the wall. The wallpaper is manufactured with consideration for the environment and can be cleaned with soap and water. Please note that slight color variations may occur between the product image and the actual wallpaper.

How to return an item:

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
