Linseed Oil Wax Allbäck - Natural

Natural linseed oil wax is available in two different sizes: 2 dl or 1 L. The wax is highly economical and covers 20-40 m² per litre.

Linseed oil wax can be used on all absorbent surfaces, such as wooden floors, matt painted surfaces, wood, concrete, brick, slate, furniture, leather and more. Allbäck linseed oil wax contains linseed oil and beeswax, cooked together so that the beeswax forms part of the linseed oil's drying process.

The wax creates a silky matt, water-repellent surface that can be cleaned with a mild mixture of linseed oil soap and water. The wax is fully cured after approximately 1 week. Drying time on knots may be longer depending on the resin content of the knot and the thickness of the wax layer. The wax should therefore be applied thinly and all excess wax wiped off.

Please note that the result of treatments with a translucent glaze effect is influenced by the absorbency of the wood and its existing colour. The wax can produce different appearances depending on the surface. A sanded wooden surface absorbs more wax and takes on more colour than a planed surface. Test the product on a small, preferably concealed area first!

Linseed oil wax can also be used to give already painted surfaces a new finish and a glossier appearance (see image). All Allbäck linseed oil waxes can be mixed with one another if you wish to create your own colour blend. If you would like a less strongly coloured wax, you can mix Natural linseed oil wax with any coloured wax.

Application
Make sure the surface to be treated is dry and clean. Apply the wax with a coarse sponge, working in the direction of the wood grain and treating a few boards at a time. Allow the wax to penetrate, then wipe off the excess with a cloth, preferably terry cloth, within 30-60 minutes. It should be possible to walk on or touch the surface immediately without leaving marks in the wax. One application is normally sufficient.

Note! Risk of spontaneous combustion in porous materials. Soak cloths and similar materials in water and place them in a plastic bag. Seal the bag securely before disposal.

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete, unassembled, and in its original packaging, and must be securely packed in protective outer packaging in the same way as when it was delivered. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
• Our return policy does not apply to items specially ordered at the customer's request that are not part of our regular range.
