The Trossö lantern is a Swedish-made table kerosene lamp crafted from solid brass with a hand-blown kerosene chimney. The lamp is powered by kerosene, also known as lamp oil, which is refilled by unscrewing the burner.

Our kerosene lamps are not intended for decorative purposes but are designed to be a primary light source in spaces without modern electric lighting, such as cabins, porches, and patios. These lamps feature round burners based on Swiss inventor Aimé Argand's patented design, which includes a finely perforated gallery and an airy wick construction that ensures abundant oxygen supply. This design provides highly efficient combustion, producing light intensity 6-15 times greater than decorative wick burners.

According to EU Directive EN 14059:2002, traditional round burners, whose dimensions and design have remained unchanged since the 1870s, no longer meet safety requirements to protect children under three years of age. Therefore, they must not be used for decorative purposes but solely as functional lighting. If these lamps are used decoratively against our recommendations, children under three could be exposed to life-threatening lung injuries if they suck on the wick or ingest kerosene. IN CASE OF KEROSENE INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Contact Poison Control or a doctor immediately!

How to return an item:

As a customer, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal. To make a return, please complete our return form. There you will also find more information about returns and our return terms.

Return terms:

• The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging, and properly packed in a protective outer package in the same way as upon delivery. Original packaging sealed with packing tape will not be accepted. Return shipping costs apply.
• Heavy/fragile goods/long goods must always be returned by pallet freight.
• Tiles must be returned in dry, clean and unopened packaging.
• Once the return has been inspected and processed, a refund will be issued within approximately 5–10 days using the same payment method as used for the purchase. Delivery shipping costs are not refunded. If a return is not approved, we reserve the right to make a deduction corresponding to the depreciation in the product’s value.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, mouldings and panelling) or custom-made orders such as tinted paint, special alloys, made-to-measure products or assembled/painted products.
