Wall tile Victoria - 7.5 x 15 cm (2,9 x 5,9 in.) white, glossy

White, plain, rectangular wall tiles were very popular around year 1900 in Sweden. This type of tile is called Subway or Underground half-tile because it was put up in the subway in New York and London. The term half tile comes from the size 7.5 x 15 cm (2.95 x 5.91 in.) which is half of 15 x 15 cm (5.91 x 5.91 in.) which was a very common tile size. Subway half-tiles were used in the bathrooms and kitchens. White rectangular tiles suit perfect above the sink or on the bathroom walls and should be mounted like bricks, i.e., with a semi-flattened displacement over respectively below a set tile. This tile is made of white clay, and each plate has been manufactured separately, which means that the plates have smooth edges. See below under related articles for matching edging tiles etc.

Remember that tiles are a natural material with natural variations between different production times. These discrepancies do not constitute grounds for complaint. It is incumbent on the buyer to check the products before assembly. Complaints after assembly are not accepted.

• Shipping cost is based on weight, volume, and shipping method and is calculated at checkout.
• Items in stock are shipped from us within 2-5 business days. 
• For customers outside the EU (excluding Norway), local taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations, and will then be billed by the carrier.

How to make a return 

Contact us within 30 days at info@sekelskifte.se and provide:

• Order number 
• Name and contact details 
• Item number, quantity, and reason for return 

Wait for approval before sending anything back. We always book the return shipment and send a shipping label. 

Return terms: 

• 30 day right of withdrawal
• The product must be unused, undamaged, unmounted, and in its complete original packaging (otherwise a deduction may apply) 
• Return shipping will be added. Heavy goods (e.g. toilets, sinks, stoves, tiles) must always be returned on a pallet. Tiles must be returned in full boxes. Return costs for long goods are calculated locally and may be higher than the original delivery cost.
• Refund is made within 30 days using the same payment method. Shipping is not refunded. 
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to timber (wooden floors, moldings, paneling) or custom orders (e.g. custom dimensions, special alloys, mixed/broken paint).
